Review Round Up: All The Past Week’s Comic Book Reviews

by Olly MacNamee

Once again we collect together all last week’s reviews for your reading pleasure with another big selection from Scott Redmond who looked at a bevvy of Batman family titles with reviews for Nightwing #80, Catwoman #30, and The Next Batman: Second Son #11, as well as reviews for BOOM! Studios’ The Many Deaths of Laila Starr #2, Firefly: Brand New Verse #3 and Marvel’s Black Knight: Curse of the Ebony Blade #3.

This week Tony Thornley gave us his opinions on DC Comics’ Superman #31, and Marvel’s Star Wars: The High Republic #5 and I looked at two titles that couldn’t be more different in tone and content, but enjoyed them both. First up was Fantastic Four: Life Story #1 and Ed Piskor’s Red Room #1 from Fantagraphic.

Meanwhile, newly promoted News Desk Editor, Brendan M Allen, reviewed Image Comics’ Geiger #2, and AfterShock’s Scout’s Honor #5, while James Ferguson looked at The O.Z. and Koom Kantesan reviewed Cinema Purgatoria: This is Sinerama to round off another fulsome week.
